Eighty-Nine Percent
Recently, a fellow pastor related a statistic to me that I found astonishing. He told me research shows that 89%of people in the northern Virginia area are unchurched. I find that to be downright scary. A lot of souls are in the balance.
The following sermons are from a series I am preaching during the winter and spring of 2011. They are based in the minor prophets. The situation with the remaining 11% seems to be dangerously close to that which the Jewish prophets faced. Hopefully these messages will speak prophetically as well.
