What I Didn't Say
Speed Preaching--I just listened to the beginning of this sermon. I'm not sure why, but I was really preaching quickly that day. I don't remember for sure, but I'm guessing the Steelers must have been playing the early game that day. Fortunately, I slowed down as I got past the intro into the body of the sermon. I don't fast-talk very well.
Steelers--Well, I just checked back. The Steelers played the late game that day. However, the game was against the Ravens for first place in the division. I must have been all hyped up in preparation for the game even though it was not for another nine hours. How pathetic is that. I hope those who were in our worship service that day took the sermon to heart and "accepted" me in spite of my short circuiting of the Word. At least the Steelers won that evening and are now in first place. Love covers a multitude of sins.
