What I Didn't Say
Testimony--One of our parish families went through a difficult, tragic situation when they lost their three day old, prematurely born grandson (William). William's grandfather (and an active member of the Smith Chapel congregation), Andy Wilson, called me one day and asked if he could share his feelings and experience during this ordeal during a worship service.
I was grateful that he was willing to do this, so I immediately agreed and made a place for him in a subsequent time of worship. My sermon that day (which was on the books long before all this happened) seemed to go hand in hand with his testimony.
Why am I not surprised. I've seen the Lord do this kind of stuff over and over again. The testimony precedes the sermon in these audio files. If you don't have time to listen to me, at least listen to him. It's the stuff of life.
