What I Didn't Say

In a Nutshell--I checked this popular idiom out.  It was coined in 1602 by none other than William Shakespeare.  He wrote it as a line in a play making Hamlet declare, "O God, I could be bounded in a nutshell, and count my self a King of infinite space."  Ever since then, we've used that idiom to refer to anything that has been reduced to a bare bones summary.  Thanks Bill.
