The Historical Books of the Bible are really interesting if you like history. Unfortunately, a lot of people hate history. Not me. I love history. I almost became a history teacher. Fortunately for the kids, I got sidetracked.
Because of that (I suppose), I love the historical books of the Bible. I could probably preach exclusively from these books and be happy. But, I guess I'd still need the Gospels, etc. to flesh everything out and have it all make sense. After all, it's His story.
