Piercings--Many years ago, my oldest son got his ear pierced. Everyone who found out before I did wanted to be there when I discovered the new orifice. For some reason, they all thought I would get angry. They were surprised when I took it calmly.
Imagine their shock when I got mine pierced a couple years later. I've since gotten out of the habit of wearing an earring, but I think I'll take it up again when I retire. I don't want to give my boss any more heartburn than I do already.
